Conference Sessions
Each session throughout the Marriage Matters Retreat is designed to encourage, challenge, and equip couples to build a Christ-centered relationship that lasts a lifetime. Through practical teaching and biblical insight, our speakers will address some of the most meaningful areas of married life.
Topics throughout the retreat usually include:
-
A Heavenly Marriage: Discover what it means to reflect Christ’s love and grace in your relationship.
-
Handling Conflict with Care: Learn how to navigate disagreements with humility, understanding, and forgiveness.
-
Financial Unity: Explore biblical principles for managing money together with stewardship and peace.
-
Raising the Next Generation: Gain wisdom for parenting with consistency and shared purpose.
-
Keeping the Spark Alive: Be reminded of the joy and friendship God intends for marriage.
Each session is designed to be engaging, encouraging, and rooted in Scripture, with time for reflection, discussion, and prayer together as a couple. Our goal is that every couple leaves refreshed, reconnected, and renewed in their commitment to one another and to the Lord.
Couples' Night Out
Following the Friday evening session, couples are encouraged to enjoy a special dinner date together. This time is set aside for you and your spouse to step away from the schedule, share a meal, and invest in one another through intentional conversation and quality time.
Whether you choose to dine privately as a couple or gather with friends from your church group, the goal is the same — to reconnect, reflect, and rejoice in the gift of marriage. Take this opportunity to talk about what you’ve learned, laugh together, and simply enjoy being with the one God has given you.
Our hope is that this evening becomes a highlight of your weekend — a time to strengthen your bond, refresh your spirit, and remind you of the joy of doing life side by side — the way God designed marriage to be.

Marriage is a matter of learning…
